Welcome to my website! I’m Terri Gross, yes, THE Terri Gross, signature painter and award-winning photographer in St. Petersburg, Florida—born and raised!
Painting has always been a passion of mine, and in 2005, I added digital photography to my repertoire, mastering this medium with the same drive and passion that led me to become an artist.
I’m a signature member of Florida Watercolor Society and International Society of Acrylic Painters, and member of International Society of Experimental Artists and Florida Photographic Collaborative. My artwork has been included in exhibitions around the county, and in international travel brochures.
I paint in watercolor, acrylic and experimental mediums. My paintings are realistic abstractions that blend imagination and reality. There’s a great focus on the interaction between color and design. I enjoy painting with powerful color and often zoom in on my subjects to give close up and dramatic views.
I photograph subjects from an “artist’s eye,” traveling all over the world to capture scenery, people and local color. I “see” commonplace things in new and exciting ways, always looking for special moments of light that turns ordinary visual images into magic. I have won numerous awards both locally and nationally.
Using my sense of adventure as my guide, I strive for individuality and creativity in all of my artwork.
